I am particularly struck by the beauty and grace of this aeroplane. To see it up close on the ground it has a presence and scale of its own. I particularly like the way that when viewed from behind, the main wings grow from the fuselage at quite a sharp angle and then seem to droop. However, when flying, this huge bird has a slow motion quality, and I think the proportions are just right. There is an air to air video of the A380 on the Emirates website that I think shows the aircraft as a real showstopper. I hope you agree.
